Change Order

All changes should be documented in writingto ensure each party understands the cost involved in the change aswell as the how the change will effect the completion date of theproject.

Thisform provides space for the description of the change as well assignature lines for both the owner and the contractor.

INVOICE

You simply must have a TWO-PART Invoice if you are a contractor.  This invoice contains all of the necessary fields to make sure you are consistent with the information you get.

Don't let there be any question as to what you did and what the customer agreed to pay.

Job Survey

Using an approximate ¼ or 1/8 inch to 1foot scale, this form allows you to make rough drawings and sketches asyou work with an owner to prepare an estimate for future projects.

The sketches you prepare will become your checklist as you compile the detailed estimate.

PROPOSAL

If you're not submitting a written proposal with each "estimate discussion" you have with a prospective client, then you'll probably agree that more times than not, there is a misunderstanding as to what you agree to do for the amount of money specified.

End the "but I thought you said" scenarios and start completing a standardized Proposal for each bid.

Subcontract Agreement

When subcontracting work toanother company you should have a written agreement. All of the detailsshould be clearly written out to include the subcontractor’s insuranceinformation, license, and federal id numbers.

This simpleform can be used by all contractors for agreements with subcontractors. It provides space for the work to be performed, payment schedule, startand completion dates.
